Anaplan is currently looking for a Director, Customer Success - FSI to guide a critical post-sales division supporting major financial institutions, insurance providers, and capital markets organizations. In this role, the selected leader will act as a frontline general manager, directing a team of at least seven customer success business partners across the Americas region while reporting to the AVP of Customer Success based in New York City. The position operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days per week in the office for candidates residing within fifty miles of the New York facility, with remote flexibility available otherwise. Travel up to twenty percent of the time, primarily within the regional area, is required.
This position suits an experienced enterprise software leader capable of managing complex commercial agreements, fostering deep client relationships, and driving adoption of modern capabilities such as Agentic artificial intelligence and multi-constraint planning technologies. Responsibilities
- Manage the complete customer lifecycle encompassing retention, net new annual contract value expansion, and pipeline contribution.
- Coach, elevate, and build the career trajectories of a team of seven or more customer success business partners across the Americas.
- Serve as the primary executive face of the company for key enterprise clients.
- Maintain disciplined operational rigor through precise forecasting, regular reviews, and focused execution.
- Drive the adoption and consumption of emerging technologies like Agentic artificial intelligence and multi-constraint planning solutions.
Requirements
- Twelve or more years of experience working in the SaaS industry.
- Demonstrated background in customer success leadership, specifically within enterprise B2B SaaS environments.
- Experience managing portfolios valued at one hundred million dollars or higher involving global enterprise clients and Fortune 100 brands.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills for million-dollar agreements involving senior stakeholders.
- Financial literacy enabling comfortable navigation of financial statements, forecasts, and business value discussions.
- Ability to travel up to twenty percent of the time, primarily within the designated region.
