Job Description
Left Field Labs is a creative technology agency that builds digital platforms, product innovations, immersive experiences, and applied AI systems for major brands. Since 2008 it has delivered projects for large technology and consumer companies such as Google, Amazon, and Meta. This quota-carrying Director of Digital Business Development role is listed as remote in the Silicon Valley area and reports to the EVP of Growth. The job is to bring in and close new enterprise digital engagements, starting from outbound prospecting and running through pitching, negotiating, and signing.
The director designs a repeatable sales approach, both outbound and inbound, aimed at Fortune 500 and other enterprise brands. The director keeps a qualified pipeline equal to 100% of annual goals, forecasts accurately, and keeps CRM data clean. Working with the Digital pod, strategists, creative leads, and technical architects, the director builds custom proposals and RFP responses, and with delivery teams prices and scopes large digital transformation projects worth millions. Developing relationships with senior executives such as CMOs, CTOs, and VPs of Innovation is central, as is tracking emerging technology, economic shifts, and competitor moves. Travel to conferences and client presentations is expected when needed.
Applicants whose primary experience is SaaS, digital media buying, programmatic ads, or traditional PR placement are not considered a match, because the agency builds solutions rather than selling licenses or ad space.
