Job Description

Lyft is seeking a Director, Global B2B TPM to lead the technical program management for its cross-organizational Global B2B initiative. This fully remote position in the United States involves reporting directly to the Vice President of Technology and DRI of Global B2B, Rishi Dean. The role serves as the central connective tissue uniting multiple business lines, regional stacks, P&Ls, and international acquisitions such as FreeNow, Gett, and TBR into a single cohesive platform.

This opportunity is well-suited for a strong technical leader who can independently navigate extreme ambiguity, align cross-functional groups without direct authority, and sequence complex programs spanning application layers, billing systems, partner integrations, and sales architectures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the complete program lifecycle for Global B2B by maintaining a unified cross-functional schedule and defining clear ownership and deadlines for dependencies across Rider, Lyft Europe, Lyft Business, Global Growth, and Finance.
  • Facilitate regular prioritization sessions to resolve competing business demands, evaluate capacity against commitments, and arbitrate between foundational platform work and expansion efforts.
  • Drive execution across application, sales, billing, partner integration, and marketing systems while identifying gaps in design authority or funding models.
  • Monitor program health across all revenue streams and escalate potential risks to leadership early to prevent missed deadlines.
  • Coordinate joint planning between Global B2B and Lyft Europe to synchronize FreeNow and Gett integrations with roaming and application launch schedules.
  • Lead annual planning from September through November to translate scope and business cases into sequenced, resourced initiatives.
  • Implement consistent product standards and a scoping gate to prevent requirement changes from quietly absorbing central capacity.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for newly connected or acquired businesses across platform architecture, reporting, systems, P&L, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with Partnerships, Rider, and MBA teams to integrate AI, agentic surfaces, and protocol work into the core plan from the beginning.
  • Deliver clear, direct, and fact-forward status updates and risk assessments to audiences ranging from individual engineers to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bring at least seven years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a closely related discipline covering platform, product, and go-to-market functions.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of constructing and overseeing a single integrated schedule across multiple organizations with diverse priorities and operational scales.
  • Possess experience establishing or facilitating forums to arbitrate competing business cases against shared capacity.
  • Demonstrate the ability to operate autonomously under conditions of extreme ambiguity, translating high-level direction into a structured, dated plan.
  • Communicate highly technical and cross-functional solutions effectively to all organizational levels, from individual contributors to C-suite executives.
  • Bring background experience with platform or infrastructure programs serving multiple P&Ls or business lines, including shared CRM, invoicing, or partner integration systems.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate background experience supporting or working alongside mergers and acquisitions integration covering systems, organization structures, or go-to-market strategies.
