Job Description
Culture Amp is hiring a Director, North America Marketing to lead marketing in the region that is its biggest. The post sits at senior leadership level in the Growth Marketing group, with the VP of Growth Marketing as line manager. The director builds and runs a data-led regional plan to win new customers, deepen relationships with existing ones and strengthen the brand. The location can be Chicago, Austin or New York, and frequent travel to regional events is expected.
The director aligns the regional marketing plan with sales and customer experience objectives so pipeline and customer outcomes advance together. Close working relationships are kept with sales leadership, account sellers, SDR leadership and SDRs, because pipeline and growth targets depend on those partnerships. The director also works with the wider Growth Marketing leaders, including those for demand generation, account-based programmes, web, lifecycle marketing and regional teams in EMEA and APAC, and represents North America's priorities to the global marketing organisation, which covers brand, communications, public relations, social and solutions marketing.
Ownership covers in-region conferences, trade shows and webinars whose purpose is lead generation, plus management of the North America marketing budget with an eye on return. The director sets programme measures, leads and develops a high-performing team, and finds ways to use AI tools to speed up campaigns, content and reporting while guiding the team through that change.
The posting seeks ten-plus years in business-to-business marketing, mostly in enterprise software or SaaS, plus a record in regional marketing and leadership. Candidates should be comfortable using AI in marketing work, confident managing budgets for return, skilled at communicating with stakeholders at every level, and able to read business data using Salesforce, Looker and Amplitude. A bachelor's degree is required, and a postgraduate qualification such as an MBA would be a strong plus. The US base salary range is $195,000 to $240,000.
