Job Description
Foodics is hiring a Director of FP&A and Investor Relations to lead financial planning, analysis and investor relationships. The posting presents this as a strategic finance post rather than a budgeting and reporting job. The director works closely with the CFO, CEO, Board and leadership, converts performance into decisions, tests assumptions and builds a scalable, AI-assisted planning team for a company spanning SaaS, fintech and payments.
Planning responsibilities include yearly budgets, long-range plans, rolling forecasts and reforecasts, with monthly reviews of revenue, annual recurring revenue, gross profit, margins, EBITDA, operating costs, cash flow and staffing. The director constructs driver-based models with base, upside and downside cases, weighs pricing, new products, geographic growth, partnerships and deals through business cases, and tightens control over operating spend, headcount and capital projects.
On the investor side this person is the principal contact for current and prospective shareholders and lenders. Deliverables include Board presentations, investor updates and quarterly and annual reporting packs, plus the investor reporting timetable. The role also supports the capital raising story, data rooms and due diligence. Roughly ten to fifteen-plus years of relevant experience is sought, and an active CMA certification or CFA charter is mandatory. Advanced spreadsheet ability is required, and experience with BI, SQL and planning software is a strong plus. The role is full-time and on-site, and no salary is given.
