SBI, The Growth Advisory is a go-to-market growth advisory firm recognized for helping companies accelerate revenue, margin, and enterprise value. The firm is seeking a remote Director of Pricing to provide high-level leadership on complex client engagements, guide internal project teams, and drive new business development alongside firm Partners.
This opportunity suits an experienced professional who excels in pricing strategy, client relationship management, and executive-level advisory. The role requires partnering closely with client executives such as CEOs, CROs, and CMOs while working from home and on-site at client locations. The ideal candidate will combine deep consulting expertise with strong leadership skills to mentor junior team members, evolve the firm's pricing product portfolio, and ensure profitable engagement delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent complex client engagements to ensure they finish on schedule, within budget, and to exact specifications
- Partner with SBI Partners on sales campaigns to secure new clients and expand relationships within existing accounts
- Lead, mentor, and coach Engagement Managers and consultants during projects and day-to-day operations
- Contribute to the evolution and enhancement of the Pricing team's intellectual property and product offerings
- Architect project scopes, solutions, and staffing needs while tracking delivered profit margins on engagements
- Complete all administrative firm tasks, assessments, and expense reports punctually
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of total professional experience
- At least 6 years of experience working in management consulting
- At least 3 years of experience managing people
- Deep practical expertise in pricing strategy and problem-solving
- Ability to travel 50% to 60% of the time
- Possession of an MBA
Qualifications
- Experience working within private equity firms or large enterprise clients
- Functional background in pricing, revenue operations, sales strategy, or marketing
- Experience interacting with C-suite and VP-level executives including CEOs, CPOs, and CMOs
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex, cross-functional projects
