PairSoft is seeking a Director - Quality Assurance & Process Improvements to lead an established team of 15 to 20 professionals. The employer provides automation technology designed to streamline financial data handling, procurement, and accounting workflows for mid-market and enterprise clients.
This role treats quality assurance as a fundamental strategy embedded throughout software design, creation, and operation, rather than a final checklist step. Candidates will oversee testing protocols across functional, integration, regression, and non-functional areas while driving engineering process improvements. The position suits an autonomous leader who identifies operational friction independently, establishes meaningful metrics for leadership visibility, and navigates complex ERP integration landscapes.

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a quality assurance team consisting of 15 to 20 members spanning multiple product lines
- Establish and oversee the comprehensive testing strategy across functional, regression, integration, and non-functional dimensions
- Drive engineering process improvement initiatives focused on measurable outcomes
- Implement metrics and reporting systems to provide leadership with visibility into quality trends
- Ensure quality standards account for the complexity of enterprise deployments and ERP integration surfaces
- Close skill gaps and scale the QA function alongside organizational growth
Requirements
- Demonstrated background in quality leadership within enterprise software organizations
- Direct ownership of quality outcomes across multiple software products or platforms
- Experience finding ways to sequence, coordinate, or structure engineering work efficiently
- Familiarity with financial software environments involving transactions, document integrity, or compliance workflows
- Experience working with ERP ecosystems and integration complexity
- Ability to operate at both strategic planning and detailed execution levels
- Strong communication skills for interacting with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders
