This on-site Director, UX Research role in Hyderabad leads the Security and Risk Workflows research team at ServiceNow. The director is the most senior research leader in India and represents the India research organization in global forums.
The role owns the research roadmap, sets quality standards for user research, and turns findings into product and investment decisions. It also involves building a local customer panel, applying AI to research methods, and hiring and developing researchers.
Responsibilities
- Own the research roadmap and focus the team on the highest-impact initiatives
- Turn research findings into evidence-based decisions with product, design and engineering
- Set research quality standards and methods across the team
- Build a local customer engagement strategy in India
Requirements
- Proven ability to influence product and business leaders with evidence-based narratives
- Experience leading multiple teams and building high-performing research groups
- Practical use of AI tools to lead teams and deliver research outcomes
Qualifications
- 12+ years in UX or product research, analytics, data science or customer experience
- 6+ years leading technical or strategic teams
- Experience shipping measurement or analytics products
- Advanced degree in HCI, cognitive psychology, human factors, statistics or related fields (preferred)
