Bromcom is seeking a remote Documentation Specialist to manage the complete lifecycle of documentation for assigned products, new features, and software enhancements. This position operates across the product, training, and documentation functions to ensure that all customer-facing guidance, release notes, and help materials are precise, timely, and easy to use. The successful candidate will handle tasks ranging from tracking upcoming work in DevOps to drafting content and updating publishing platforms. This role suits professionals who can independently balance sprint deadlines, ad hoc requests, and peak workloads while collaborating closely with various teams.
The person in this position will take full ownership of product guides, help center articles, and release communications. Key duties involve gathering product details, verifying technical accuracy with product owners, and maintaining published materials so they remain accurate and aligned with branding standards. Additionally, the role integrates artificial intelligence tools responsibly to enhance content creation, drafting, editing, and quality assurance processes, while always applying careful human review.

Responsibilities
- Manage the complete documentation lifecycle for designated products and features from initial tracking in DevOps to publication
- Produce clear and accurate release notes, user guides, product communications, and help center materials
- Keep published content, screenshots, and wording current and user-friendly
- Collaborate with product teams and subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy and secure approvals
- Utilize publishing systems and platforms including DevOps, Beamer, WordPress, and Dynamics 365
- Incorporate artificial intelligence tools to accelerate drafting, research, editing, and quality checks under human oversight
- Review internal help desk feedback and customer queries to prioritize new or updated guidance
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in creating technical documentation, release notes, user guides, or training materials
- Exceptional written English, proofreading, and editing abilities with strong attention to detail
- Capacity to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-friendly guidance
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently within sprint deadlines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel alongside the willingness to learn DevOps, Beamer, WordPress, and Dynamics 365
- Practical experience or willingness to use artificial intelligence tools for prompting, drafting, and analysis
