Delan Associates is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance Tester to join their team for a full-time, remote position. This role focuses on designing and executing comprehensive test plans encompassing functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing for Microsoft Dynamics platforms.
The position is well-suited for professionals who possess extensive experience in software quality assurance, specifically working with Microsoft Dynamics Finance and integrated environments. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, align testing efforts with SAFe principles, and utilize AI-based testing tools to optimize test coverage and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans including functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testing
- Manage and execute manual and automated test cases using frameworks and tools like Azure DevOps, AccelQ, and Selenium
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and guarantee quality delivery
- Engage in Agile ceremonies and align testing procedures with SAFe principles
- Document defects and test results while maintaining thorough logs
- Assist with end-user testing and provide feature walkthroughs
- Utilize AI-based testing tools to improve coverage and efficiency
- Continuously enhance test automation processes and coverage
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- Possess four or more years of software testing experience encompassing both manual and automated testing
- Have at least three years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance
- Demonstrate familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and methodologies
- Bring experience utilizing test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or ALM Octane
- Show a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 Sales (CE)
- Display strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Possess experience working within the SAFe framework
Qualifications
- Hold a SAFe certification such as SAFe Tester
- Bring experience in integrated environments involving Customer Engagement and Finance and Operations data exchange
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Dynamics 365 modules and Finance processes
- Possess a background in business analytics, project management, or change management
- Reside in the Chicago or Washington, DC metro area, which is preferred by the employer
