Responsibilities

- Two or more years in software engineering, systems administration, or DevOps roles
- At least five years as a consultant delivering professional services engagements
- Experience presenting technical topics as an instructor or speaker to engineers and developers
- Working knowledge of Linux, Java, databases, and at least one programming language
- Experience with large distributed systems and knowledge of information retrieval or analytics
- Willingness to work onsite with customers and to travel
Qualifications
- Strong grasp of Elasticsearch and Lucene, with Elastic Certified Engineer status as an asset
- A bachelor's, master's, or doctorate in computer science or a related engineering field
- Strong Java and Linux/Unix skills
- Interest in delivering or developing product training
- Contributions to an open-source project or its documentation
