Job Description
We Are Rosie is hiring an Email Marketing Manager specializing in HubSpot on behalf of a mission-driven technology platform. This client powers online fundraising and campaign tools for Democratic and progressive causes. The organization's growth marketing team is scaling two SaaS products built for down-ballot political campaigns through the 2026 election cycle. This contractor role is suited for an independent marketer who can execute high-volume email programs during peak periods leading up to Election Day.
Working alongside a full-time Email Strategist, the contractor will handle hands-on building, quality assurance, scheduling, and deployment of emails in HubSpot. Because email serves as the primary channel for onboarding and re-engaging customers, accuracy and adherence to a fixed schedule are essential. The role operates on an hourly rate of $50 to $55 per hour for approximately 25 hours per week. The initial term lasts approximately three months with a start date of ASAP and a potential extension.

Responsibilities
- Build, quality check, and schedule activation sends in HubSpot including GOTV, early-voting, conversion, and texting registration campaigns
- Construct and manage automated triggered workflows such as onboarding nurtures and drop-off recovery flows
- Execute time-sensitive sends across customer segments leading up to Election Day
- Develop and maintain segmented target lists alongside the data team
- Manage the autumn send calendar, quality assurance procedures, and deliverability checks
- Track and report performance metrics against target engagement goals of a 30 percent or higher open rate and a 4 percent or higher click rate
Requirements
- Two to four or more years of hands-on email marketing execution experience, preferably within a SaaS company
- Demonstrated HubSpot expertise including email creation, lists, segments, and workflow automation
- Strong quality assurance habits covering links, rendering, personalization tokens, and audience logic
- Practical understanding of email deliverability best practices
- Experience managing high-volume send calendars under strict, fixed deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and operate autonomously with a busy strategist
- Alignment with the client mission supporting progressive and Democratic causes
- Must work Eastern Standard Time hours
Qualifications
- Familiarity with basic HTML and CSS for designing email templates
- Background managing lifecycle or onboarding programs for activation or free-to-paid product models
- Experience conducting A/B testing on send timing, content, and subject lines
- Strong SaaS industry background
