CSC Generation is hiring an Email & SMS Specialist to manage communication campaigns for Sur La Table. This remote position operates within Canada and reports directly to the Marketing Manager for Email & SMS. The person in this role will handle the complete lifecycle of customer messaging, spanning promotional schedules, visual creation, quality reviews, deployments, and performance tracking. Operating on a compact team, the selected professional will guide campaign strategy, introduce artificial intelligence processes to scale output during busy periods, and refine audience targeting in coordination with CRM analytics.

Responsibilities
- Manage the complete creation and deployment process for email and SMS campaigns, including layout building, visual placement, audience selection, and quality checks
- Collaborate daily with brand marketing, creative, and merchandising units on execution
- Build and maintain the monthly promotional calendar for email and SMS channels
- Analyze key delivery metrics like open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to optimize results
- Design and execute split tests for messaging copy, subject headers, delivery timing, and visuals
- Integrate generative artificial intelligence tools into drafting, segmentation, quality control, and reporting workflows
- Partner with analytics teams to improve customer segmentation strategies
- Ensure all messaging complies with anti-spam legislation including CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR
Requirements
- One to three years of practical email marketing experience
- Demonstrated usage of generative artificial intelligence tools or platform features to enhance productivity and results
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn campaign data into practical recommendations
- Familiarity with email regulatory standards such as CAN-SPAM, CASL, and GDPR
- High attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree or equivalent education
- Experience with Emarsys, Wunderkind, Google Analytics, Heap, Adobe Suite, or Canva
- Background in HTML and CSS email coding
- Prior work history in retail or e-commerce industries
- Strong interest in the culinary sector and the Sur La Table brand
