Red Clay Solutions is hiring an Engagement Partner for its Client Services department. The job is a director-level professional services leadership role responsible for delivering assigned accounts, programs and projects in the company's Delivery Practice on schedule, within budget, and at a quality level that keeps clients satisfied and willing to act as references.
The Engagement Partner acts as the lead for named client accounts. Part of the work is commercial: growing sold revenue on those accounts, building relationships with senior client executives, and joining sales pursuits and contract negotiations alongside practice leaders. The rest is operational, covering project margins, statements of work, change orders, KPI accuracy and invoice collection across assigned projects.
The posting suits an experienced consulting or advisory leader who can manage complex, multi-workstream engagements and present confidently to clients. Responsibilities
- Make sure assigned projects stay within agreed baseline, budget, schedule, scope and margin targets
- Carry accountability for SOWs, the P&L, change orders, reporting accuracy and collections on assigned work
- Expand sold revenue on named accounts while keeping senior client executives engaged
- Shape contracts and negotiation strategy together with practice leaders
- Track how engagements are performing and pass key decisions and risks up to the Delivery Executive
- Help the PMO standardize methods and reuse delivery materials
- Speak at industry events about the company's approach to delivery
Requirements
- Degree in business, management or an adjacent discipline, or professional experience accepted as an equivalent
- Eight-plus years in consulting or professional services, covering program management and owning client accounts
- Track record running complicated engagements with several workstreams while hitting schedule and cost targets
- Solid grasp of project finances: profit and loss, margin analysis, drafting SOWs and handling change orders
- Demonstrated skill building relationships with executives and expanding accounts
Qualifications
- PMP, PgMP or equivalent project or program management certification
- Previous senior leadership post at a consulting or advisory firm
- Familiarity with PSA and CRM tools such as Kantata; AI-enabled delivery tool experience is a plus
- Past delivery of Oracle Energy and Water programs
- Background in business development and sales methodology
