In this position, the Engineering Director will manage three software engineering teams covering Business Systems, the Data Lake, and Integrations. The department handles critical internal tools including Salesforce, NetSuite, and a custom data mesh solution built with Trino, Ranger, Superset, Python, Temporal, and Airbyte. The role involves guiding engineering managers, setting performance goals, establishing development practices, driving product roadmaps, and expanding the teams.
This opportunity is suited for a technical leader experienced in directing multiple software engineering groups, managing CRM or ERP systems, and overseeing data governance or distributed integrations. Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineering teams ranging from graduate to senior levels
- Coach and develop engineering managers to uphold company culture
- Establish and evangelize strong engineering practices and processes
- Set performance management goals and objectives with direct reports and teams
- Monitor team health indicators and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Take accountability for product development roadmaps
- Participate as an active member of the Commercial Systems leadership team

Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in a technical field or a compelling alternative path
- Proven experience driving large or multiple software engineering teams
- Engineering background in CRM or ERP systems, Python, data engineering, data governance, or distributed integrations
- Track record of exceeding expectations to achieve strong results
- Professional written and spoken English proficiency with presentation skills
- Ability to travel internationally twice per year for company events up to two weeks long
