Job Description
The company is looking for an Engineering Manager to build and operate the products its members rely on, from banking and payments to administration and operational tooling. The manager leads a domain-aligned, full-stack team that owns its products from start to finish. Each team pairs with a Product Manager as a product engineering duo, and engineers agree common norms through practice groups.
The role mixes people leadership with hands-on engineering. Team performance is tracked against DORA measures, and the manager looks after each engineer's growth and wellbeing.
The manager makes meaningful architectural decisions for the domain. The listing describes someone who cares as much about what gets built as how it gets built, and who divides attention among designing, programming and mentoring. Colleagues are expected to bring hard problems to this person for advice.
