- Comfort with distributed systems, scaling, high availability and fault tolerance.
- Familiarity with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to drive delivery through OKRs, sprint planning and prioritisation.
- Clear communication and a knack for collaborating with several groups.
Qualifications
- Background in automating database setup or building tools for internal developers.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines or infrastructure-as-code work.
- Background running busy, large-volume production systems.
- Enjoys working on keeping costs down and improving speed.
- Prior collaboration with site reliability or infra groups.
- Exposure to data pipelines and messaging systems such as Kafka.
