Job Description
Monte Carlo is seeking an Enterprise Sales Manager to direct its Americas enterprise team, focusing on organizations with 1,000 to 7,500 employees. Founded in 2019, Monte Carlo operates an agent trust platform that merges data and agent observability to help businesses monitor, troubleshoot, and scale production artificial intelligence systems. As enterprise clients transition AI agents into live environments, deals have grown larger and more cross-functional, creating a need for a leader who can establish a repeatable new-logo engine and guide sales representatives through multi-threaded, executive-level negotiations.
This full-time leadership position is structured as a remote-first role. The ideal candidate brings a background as an individual contributor before moving into first-line management, possessing direct experience driving enterprise SaaS sales and coaching teams on rigorous frameworks like MEDDPICC. Responsibilities center on expanding the team from four to six representatives, managing forecasts and pipeline coverage, driving outbound engagement, and partnering closely with solutions engineering, product marketing, customer success, and sales development. This role is unsuited for candidates who prefer to remain individual contributors or who rely on a pre-built sales playbook.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Enterprise Americas team forecast, pipeline coverage, and new-logo bookings as the team scales from four to six representatives
- Establish a consistent outbound culture by reviewing weekly pipeline creation, coaching messaging, and setting prospecting standards for enterprise accounts
- Provide live deal coaching during calls focusing on discovery, multi-threading, executive access, and deal navigation
- Run and teach disciplined deal qualification and inspection methodologies like MEDDPICC and value selling
- Recruit one to two account executives from a professional network and work to improve every team member's performance
- Collaborate with sales engineers, SDRs, marketing, and customer success to shape the enterprise sales motion
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in first-line enterprise sales management following a successful career as a top new-logo account executive
- Formal training inside a disciplined, KPI-driven enterprise software-as-a-service organization
- Demonstrated ability to teach methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, or value-based discovery
- Track record of creating a pipeline from scratch rather than inheriting a mature patch
- Experience hiring, developing, and leading sales representatives
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in data, infrastructure, or artificial intelligence industries
Core Skills
Benefits
- Competitive compensation package
- Equity
- Remote-first work environment
