The company is currently looking for an Enterprise Technical Team Lead to join its enterprise services team in a senior, hands-on capacity. This position focuses on the ongoing secure operation, technical support, and continuous improvement of client cloud and security environments.
The person in this role will function as an internal subject matter expert for Azure and managed security services, guiding delivery quality and managing escalations. Responsibilities include designing secure systems, mentoring technical staff, handling incident responses, and collaborating with internal groups such as GRC, Infrastructure, and Modern Workplace teams. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in security operations and Azure infrastructure, combining high-level strategic oversight with direct, day-to-day technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain client Azure environments by monitoring, investigating, and resolving security alerts through Microsoft Defender and Microsoft Sentinel tools.
- Implement and support secure Azure solutions encompassing identity hardening, networking configurations, and security policies.
- Own escalated security incidents from remediation through post-incident reviews to determine necessary configuration or architectural changes.
- Review security posture metrics such as Azure Secure Score and vulnerability findings, and coordinate or apply corrective actions.
- Engage with clients on a recurring basis to review security posture, Secure Score breakdowns, and improvement plans.
- Manage proactive maintenance and monthly governance reporting for assigned accounts.
- Support secondary Microsoft 365 service areas, tenant-level reporting, and CSP-related requests.
- Participate in incident, request, and escalation queues to resolve complex cloud and security issues within defined service levels.
- Coordinate technical efforts during major incident responses to help leadership restore services efficiently.
- Act as an internal escalation resource and real-time technical coach to guide technicians during live troubleshooting and implementations.
- Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures, deployment standards, and knowledge base articles.
- Communicate transparently with client stakeholders regarding incidents, remediation steps, and technical recommendations in non-technical terms.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or administration.
- At least 3 years of experience in Azure security operations, including hands-on work with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft 365 Defender.
- Deep expertise in Azure infrastructure including networking, storage, identity, and governance.
- Expertise in security architecture design such as Zero Trust, GRC strategies, and CNAPP/CSPM integrations.
- Expertise in security tools including the Microsoft Defender suite and Sentinel.
- Experience as a Technical Architect designing the technical aspects of implementations and configurations.
- Strong communication and client engagement capabilities.
- Willingness to travel as required and work outside of normal business hours.
Qualifications
- Exposure and skill in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as PowerShell, ARM templates, and Terraform.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks including ISO, NIST, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
- Background in Microsoft technology solution development and delivery.
