Job Description

Crosslake Technologies is seeking an Enterprise Systems Practitioner to direct technology diligence and value creation engagements for private equity investors and portfolio companies. In this capacity, you will evaluate enterprise applications, operational processes, infrastructure, and third-party vendor arrangements during fast-paced transactions, as well as guide post-close transformations, technology roadmaps, and interim leadership assignments.

This role suits professionals who thrive in solving complex technical problems and communicating clear, defensible insights to non-technical stakeholders and investment committees. You will examine operational workflows, data quality, controls, and financial implications to identify material risks and investment needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sell-side and buy-side technology diligence by evaluating systems, infrastructure, vendor contracts, spend, and scalability requirements
  • Assess ERP, warehouse, and WMS environments along with associated finance, procurement, inventory, and fulfilment processes
  • Evaluate front- and mid-office systems such as CRM and PSA, covering lead-to-cash and project-to-cash workflows
  • Examine critical end-to-end business processes to uncover weak handoffs, manual workarounds, control gaps, and data issues
  • Analyze data centers, networks, identity systems, disaster recovery, hybrid cloud setups, and application migrations
  • Review managed service provider arrangements for pricing, service levels, governance, and transition risks
  • Evaluate IT operating procedures including service desk management, onboarding, incident management, and asset tracking
  • Size one-time and recurring technology investments such as deferred upgrades, infrastructure remediation, and staffing needs
  • Translate technical findings into concise conclusions for investment committees and senior executives
  • Develop post-close systems roadmaps and assist clients with vendor selection, delivery governance, or interim leadership

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise systems, IT operations, technology leadership, systems transformation, or transaction advisory
  • Experience leading multiple sell-side, buy-side, or rapid technology assessments for private-equity or corporate M&A clients
  • Leadership-level knowledge across ERP, warehouse systems, PSA, CRM, traditional infrastructure, and managed services
  • Deep operating or delivery experience in at least two of the core technical areas
  • Direct accountability for major business-process or systems outcomes, transformation programs, budgets, or IT operations
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct process walkthroughs across multiple business functions
  • Experience selecting, implementing, upgrading, recovering, or rationalizing enterprise systems
  • Experience with traditional and hybrid infrastructure, data centers, and cloud migrations
  • Experience selecting, transitioning, managing, or renegotiating managed service provider contracts
  • Strong analytical and financial judgment to estimate technology investments

Qualifications

  • Background as a former CIO, VP of IT, Head of Enterprise Applications, enterprise systems program leader, technology operating partner, or senior M&A technology advisor
  • Experience in professional services, technology-enabled services, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or similar sectors
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and industry-relevant PSA and professional-services platforms
  • Familiarity with WMS, warehouse operations, and eCommerce exposure
  • Experience converting diligence findings into systems roadmaps, vendor selections, or interim leadership roles
  • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field
