Orchard is seeking a remote Escrow Officer in Florida to manage the entire closing process and deliver customer service for residential purchase transactions. This full-time position reports directly to the National Escrow Manager. The ideal candidate has experience handling high-stakes, time-sensitive deals and works well alongside support staff where attention to detail is critical for timely completions.
Orchard operates Orchard Title as an affiliate company, providing title and escrow services to ensure a seamless closing experience for clients. The organization currently maintains a national footprint across multiple states, including Florida, with ongoing expansion plans.
Responsibilities
- Prepare settlement documents, escrow agreements, and closing disclosures according to buyer, seller, and lender instructions
- Collaborate with internal teams in funding, sales, customer experience, and contract operations to troubleshoot and resolve title issues quickly
- Order title reports, clear title defects, and satisfy existing liens against properties and principals
- Audit files for compliance, completion, and accuracy
- Arrange closings using mobile or e-notary services
- Review lender closing instructions, oversee fund receipts and disbursements, and manage outstanding checks and escrowed funds
- Adhere to company standards, governing laws, regulations, and Orchard Title policies
Requirements
- Four or more years of experience working as an Escrow Officer
- Direct background in closing 1-4 family residential purchase transactions
- Working knowledge of escrow regulations and rules specific to the state of Florida
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and Qualia software
- Written and verbal customer service skills
Qualifications
- Bilingual communication skills in both Spanish and English
