This fixed-term role may be filled from anywhere in Europe and is aimed at building One Acre Fund's fundraising presence across Europe. The lead finds and nurtures donor and wealthy-individual prospects, looks after existing relationships, and represents the organisation and smallholder farmers at events.

Responsibilities
- Develop a pipeline of prospective funders, including affluent individuals, and turn leads into relationships
- Steward existing donors to support renewals and, where possible, larger gifts
- Shape the European market strategy across foundations, family offices and institutional funders
- Represent the organisation and smallholder farmers at conferences and high-profile events
Requirements
- Ten-plus years in fundraising or origination work
- Consistent annual fundraising results in the seven- to eight-figure range across the last five years
- Track record of independently growing a donor portfolio and securing new funding
Qualifications
- Useful contacts across one or more European countries
- Background in philanthropy, foundations, wealth advisory, family offices or impact investing
