Navan is hiring a full-time Event Travel Manager for a remote position with a salary range of USD 68,000 to 70,000 per year. This role delivers event travel management services to key clients, including the General Manager, Global Head of Event Travel, team leads, and the wider Event Travel team. The position focuses on building internal relationships, sharing market expertise, driving revenue across event travel services, and ensuring clients achieve their event objectives and return on investment.
The person in this position provides personalized support to travelers by resolving issues before, during, and after trips, including cancellations, updates, and bookings for hotels, flights, cars, and rail services. Responsibilities also involve managing project documentation to maintain policy and SLA compliance, collaborating with client contacts to meet program goals, and coordinating program planning from the post-sale stage to final billing. Qualified candidates should be adaptable, empathetic, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist travelers with personalized support and resolve issues prior to, during, and following travel
- Handle cancellations, modifications, and updates for hotel, flight, car, and rail bookings
- Provide accurate fare details for flights, hotels, cars, and rail services
- Collaborate with client contacts to align with program objectives and success metrics
- Maintain project documentation to ensure compliance with service agreements and SLAs
- Troubleshoot issues by referencing agent guidelines
- Coordinate program planning from the post-sale phase through final billing
- Attend regular team updates regarding product launches and initiatives
Requirements
- Professional oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suites
- Ability to participate in client-facing video calls for setup and project management
- Familiarity with Slack
- Ability to multitask and efficiently handle urgent matters
- Empathetic disposition with a professional attitude
- Adaptability in a hyper-growth environment

Qualifications
- One to three years of group travel planning experience
- Familiarity with Navan TravelXen and travel bookings
- Four or more years of GDS experience
- Experience with Sabre including PNR building and ticketing
- Experience with Amadeus and NDC
- Prior success in developing and maintaining key client and Account Manager or Account Executive relationships
