This full-time position involves designing flight test plans aligned with federal regulatory certification standards, coordinating Test Readiness Reviews, and collaborating with subsystem engineering teams to identify technical risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or support Test Readiness Reviews by coordinating inputs from engineering, operations, and safety
  • Author and maintain test plan documentation including procedures, test point matrices, pass or fail criteria, and data requirements
  • Coordinate with certification engineers and FAA representatives to support compliance findings
  • Contribute to lessons-learned and process improvement efforts for future test planning cycles

Requirements

  • 10 or more years of experience in flight test operations
  • Strong knowledge of airworthiness certification flight test programs and regulatory requirements
  • Experience with safety risk management processes related to flight testing or complex operational testing
  • Proficiency in planning and executing ground and flight tests within military or certification projects
  • Exceptional collaboration and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organization with strong attention to detail

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
