Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and construct the first consumer-facing applications for Android and iOS alongside supporting backend services
• Manage the complete user journey from onboarding to engagement loops and interface design
• Collaborate with legal and privacy departments to implement app store policy-compliant permission and consent workflows
• Implement comprehensive funnel tracking from user attribution and installation through registration and retention
• Design, execute, and analyze product experiments to iterate rapidly on feature performance
• Handle app store releases, submissions, and review processes
• Leverage artificial intelligence development tools for coding, design, and testing workflows
• Incorporate core data collection technology into applications while adhering to privacy and data separation requirements
• Develop fraud prevention and account integrity controls against device spoofing and emulators
• Establish early technical decisions regarding software stacks, system architecture, and third-party vendors
• Monitor production services for reliability, performance, and operational costs
• Contribute to hiring and mentoring subsequent engineering team members

Requirements

• At least six years of professional software engineering experience with a minimum of four years dedicated to consumer-facing mobile products
• Demonstrated ability to design user experiences with a portfolio of shipped consumer applications
• Proficiency with AI-driven development tools including coding assistants, design utilities, and automated testing
• Track record of bringing at least one consumer mobile application from conception to public launch as an early engineer
• Deep technical proficiency in either Android with Kotlin or iOS with Swift, paired with working knowledge of the alternate platform or equivalent cross-platform experience
• Practical background in integrating third-party SDKs into mobile software
• Backend development experience building cloud-based APIs and data services, with a preference for Python and Google Cloud Platform
• Direct familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play review guidelines, data safety requirements, and rejection resolution
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to proactively escalate risks

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline, or equivalent practical work experience
• Demonstrated application of artificial intelligence tools to enhance professional or personal productivity and workflow efficiency
