The professional in this role will partner closely with internal medical teams, operational leaders, external physician consultants, and key opinion leaders. Primary deliverables include two abstract submissions targeted toward cardiology and gastroenterology peer-reviewed journals for publication in 2027. Key duties involve designing short-term publication roadmaps, performing literature searches, translating complex data into written summaries and data visualizations, and serving as the primary project owner from initiation through submission.

Requirements

- Demonstrated experience authoring, editing, and submitting manuscripts to peer-reviewed medical journals.
- Ability to translate complex data into accurate narratives for publication.
- Strong literature search, critical appraisal, writing, and editing capabilities.
- Project management skills to handle timelines and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Capability to work independently and manage urgent deadlines in a freelance environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in the sciences, English, communications, or a related discipline.
- Advanced degree such as an MS, MPH, PharmD, PhD, or MD in a relevant clinical or scientific field.
