This role centers on building scalable enterprise applications for the financial services and insurance sectors. The engineer will work with delivery teams, stakeholders, and clients to create modern solutions meeting complex technical needs. Responsibilities include building front-end components and back-end services, proposing technical approaches, and keeping up with emerging technology trends.

Responsibilities
- Design and build full-stack MERN enterprise applications based on business needs
- Gather and document functional and business requirements through direct client collaboration
- Provide technical guidance and present architectural solution approaches

- Keep pace with industry trends and new technologies to improve engineering efficiency
- Create responsive front-end components using React and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Build scalable back-end services utilizing Node.js, TypeScript, Express, and GraphQL
- Deploy serverless solutions and Function-as-a-Service architectures like Azure Functions
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional working experience as a MERN stack developer or engineer
- Practical experience in building and deploying applications on public cloud platforms, with a preference for Microsoft Azure
- Demonstrated ability to construct responsive front-end applications with React
- Proficiency in back-end development using Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Express
- Experience using Git or Bitbucket for version control
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies via Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
- Working knowledge of microservices architectures and RESTful APIs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related academic field
- Experience working with MongoDB or comparable document-oriented databases
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK
- Understanding of workflow automation or BPM tools including Camunda
- Prior background in FinTech or InsurTech
