SeekWell, the parent organization behind 1-800 Contacts, Luna, and The Framery, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join the team under The Framery. The company is owned by KKR and focuses on making vision care simpler, more accessible, and more convenient through advanced mobile and web products. In this role, the engineer will help redefine the eyewear experience by building innovative digital solutions that put the customer first.
This position requires a hybrid work arrangement, consisting of remote work from home combined with one day per week on-site in Draper, Utah. Team members work within an agile methodology alongside Engineering Managers, Product Owners, iOS engineers, and Machine Learning engineers to deliver robust software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative consumer-facing APIs and backend services
- Create and maintain consumer-facing web components and websites
- Collaborate with iOS engineers to help them utilize owned APIs
- Partner with Machine Learning engineers to integrate produced models
- Monitor production application performance and troubleshoot issues
- Write and maintain automated tests for new and existing code
- Contribute to software architecture decisions
- Work with Engineering Managers and Product Owners to prioritize tasks in an agile framework
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of backend development experience utilizing Python
- Minimum of two years of frontend experience utilizing Vue or similar libraries such as React or Angular
- Experience working with web frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask
- Experience building shareable JavaScript components across multiple websites
- Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Experience working with AWS, MongoDB, and Redis
- Ability to communicate technical requirements effectively through written and verbal channels
