The organization currently seeks a Global Analytics Manager to work remotely from either Barcelona or Madrid, supporting core business units by leading a small analytics team.
This position suits an experienced data leader who enjoys bridging technical data systems with high-level business goals. The person in this role will oversee two to three analysts, foster AI-driven methodologies, and partner directly with internal leadership to influence company-wide decisions.
Daily responsibilities center on guiding analytical projects, designing scalable data models, and transforming complex metrics into actionable insights for non-technical executives. Candidates will collaborate closely with international departments while leveraging modern tools like BigQuery, SQL, Tableau, and Looker. The hiring process involves several stages, including preliminary chats, stakeholder discussions, a live technical exercise, and a business case review.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor a small group of two to three analysts using agile methodologies.
- Coordinate with local and global stakeholders to align analytical output with company priorities.
- Promote AI-first practices, such as AI-assisted querying and code libraries.
- Partner with business leaders to identify gaps and execute experiments or A/B tests.
- Develop and maintain scalable data models and automations across thirteen markets.
- Build user-friendly dashboards using Looker and Tableau for non-technical decision-makers.
Requirements
- Over five years of relevant analytics experience, including one to two years of leadership experience.
- Strong SQL proficiency, preferably with BigQuery.
- Demonstrated background in designing and maintaining automations and scalable data models.
- Experience implementing AI-first workflows within data teams.
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly to senior, non-technical audiences.
- Professional fluency in English and legal authorization to work in the country of residence.
Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative discipline like Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
- Familiarity with Python.
- Previous professional exposure within startups, technology companies, or consulting.
- Proficiency in Spanish.
