Job Description

Dataiku is seeking a Global Total Rewards Lead to direct its global compensation, equity, and benefits strategy. The company operates as a platform for enterprise artificial intelligence, providing an orchestration layer across cloud infrastructure and data services that allows organizations to govern, build, and deploy AI models. Comprising around 1,300 personnel spread across 18 countries, Dataiku functions with a lean, decentralized People department.

In this position, the individual will report to the Vice President of People Foundations and hold direct oversight of international compensation frameworks, pay transparency preparations, and equity structures. The role involves close collaboration with executive leadership, the Board of Directors, the Compensation Committee, Legal, and Finance departments. Key responsibilities include shaping compensation philosophy to balance financial constraints with market competitiveness, managing merit cycles, and directing the day-to-day operations of global benefits.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive background in total rewards within high-growth technological or enterprise software enterprises, alongside deep familiarity with international equity administration and pay transparency regulations across North America and Europe. Candidates should display strong analytical modeling capabilities and an interest in leveraging automation and artificial intelligence for human resources workflows. This position offers an opportunity to exercise leadership autonomy within a global technology company focused on artificial intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve the global compensation philosophy to ensure market competitiveness, internal equity, and financial sustainability
  • Prepare the organization for regulatory changes by defining the global approach to pay transparency, including the EU Pay Transparency Directive
  • Establish job architecture, salary ranges, and leveling structures with streamlined tools for managers
  • Design equity grant guidelines, new-hire allocations, refresh awards, and collaborate with Finance and Legal on international tax, dilution, and modeling
  • Present executive compensation and equity strategies to the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee
  • Manage merit, promotion, and incentive review cycles through automated workflows
  • Determine benefit strategies across corporate entities and Employer of Record countries while leading the operational benefits team

Requirements

  • Extensive compensation or total rewards background, typically spanning ten or more years
  • Expertise in global compensation strategy covering benchmarking, salary structures, incentive design, and job architecture
  • Demonstrated cross-border equity management experience
  • Practical knowledge regarding pay transparency legislation in North America and Europe
  • Background in transforming or building rewards frameworks rather than solely maintaining existing models
  • Experience managing teams and engaging senior executives in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling

Qualifications

  • Background working in high-growth enterprise software or global technology companies
  • Late-stage private company equity experience
  • Familiarity with Workday software
  • Knowledge of French and United Kingdom benefits and pension programs
