A remote contract opening at Zone & Co asks for a GTM Engineer. Zone & Co develops finance software that runs inside Oracle NetSuite, and it reports that over 4,500 customers rely on it for order-to-cash, procurement, treasury, payroll and reporting tasks. The person hired would take ownership of the data, integration and automation layer that drives pipeline, and would help the revenue organization move toward AI-assisted work.
Day-to-day tasks include assembling the enrichment layer, linking CRM, sequencing, marketing automation and warehouse systems, building inbound scoring and routing logic, and maintaining outbound prospect lists with conversion tracking. The engineer also designs AI agent workflows for enrichment, tailored messaging and lead scoring, runs controlled tests judged by pipeline and conversion metrics, and shows results on Tableau or Looker dashboards. Deliverability, data quality and GDPR and CAN-SPAM compliance are treated as design constraints from the start. Business development staff who are learning to build their own systems will be coached by this person.
Applicants need four-plus years of personally building GTM automations and integrations, rather than only overseeing them. Practical command of Clay or a similar enrichment tool and a solid grasp of Salesforce, including data governance, are required. Candidates should be able to write and repair workflows in SQL, Python or JavaScript without engineering help, have used a BI product, and have applied LLMs to revenue operations. Experience leading or coaching a team is required, and knowledge of deal-qualification frameworks and multi-touch attribution is expected.
Responsibilities
- Connect enrichment vendors and internal data sources so account and contact records stay accurate
- Build data flows around field mapping and data contracts instead of one-off scripts
- Build inbound scoring, routing and reply logic for leads
- Keep outbound prospect lists, enrichment, sequencing and conversion measurement running
- Architect AI agents that enrich records, tailor outreach, score leads and lift rep output
- Test channel experiments against pipeline and conversion, and retire approaches that underperform
- Report system performance in Tableau or Looker
- Coach business development staff in workflow design and Clay, and help others make their automations governed and production-ready
- Install safeguards covering inbox deliverability, record quality and legal compliance before anything ships
Requirements
- Four-plus years of personally building GTM automations and integrations, rather than only overseeing them
- Working fluency in Clay or a similar enrichment or workflow product
- Solid Salesforce skills, including data governance
- Able to write and repair SQL, Python or JavaScript workflows without engineering help
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or Looker
- Demonstrated use of LLMs and agentic tools inside revenue processes
- Knowledge of deliverability, data quality, GDPR and CAN-SPAM rules
- Experience leading or coaching a team
Qualifications
- Grounding in qualification frameworks like BANT or MEDDIC, plus attribution modeling
- Earlier BDR or SDR experience
