Job Description
Deloitte in Accra is recruiting a Head of HR and Talent Management, a senior management role responsible for HR across the company and its subsidiaries or units. The role plans and runs HR policies, talent development, recruitment and labour-law compliance, and manages the HR budget. It is a full-time position reporting to the deputy CEO, suited to a candidate with at least eight years in an HR managerial role in a corporate setting.
Responsibilities
- Work with senior leadership on staffing needs, recruitment, retention, training and talent development
- Plan and run HR policies, programs and surveys that support compliance and strategy
- Oversee compensation, benefits, leave, performance, disputes and occupational health and safety
- Ensure compliance with labour law and prepare regular reports for the deputy CEO
Requirements
- A minimum of eight years in an HR managerial role within a corporate setting
- A degree in human resources, business administration, management studies or a related field
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion
- Excellent communication, negotiation and organizational skills, with strong analytical and supervisory ability
Qualifications
- A second degree in business management, human resource management or a closely related field
- Membership of a professional body such as IHRMP, PHR, SHRM, SPHR or CIPD
