The organization is currently launching physical innovation hubs at Ahmadu Bello University, Obafemi Awolowo University, and the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. These multidisciplinary spaces welcome undergraduate students from every faculty to participate in structured, industry-linked training cohorts focused on artificial intelligence, software engineering, design, data science, product, and robotics.
The company seeks a Head for these innovation hubs to own the operating model from the ground up, directing the program structure, institutional relationships, operational budgets, and performance metrics across all three campuses. This construction role suits an experienced leader capable of bridging academic environments with technology sectors, defining teaching standards, and managing cross-functional teams.
The successful candidate will orchestrate institutional partnerships with deans and vice-chancellors, recruit and manage technical facilitators, build external mentorship networks, and integrate graduate pipelines into Moniepoint and the wider tech industry. Responsibilities
- Design the operating model for all three university innovation hubs, covering cohort structures, learning sequences, and graduation standards
- Manage institutional relationships with vice-chancellors, faculty leads, deans, and student organizations at all campus locations
- Create the multi-faculty engagement framework to attract and retain students from engineering, humanities, business, design, and sciences
- Build and direct a network of engineering, product, and founder mentors from inside and outside Moniepoint
- Recruit local facilitators and establish a uniform teaching and assessment standard across every site
- Oversee physical infrastructure development, vendor contracts, timeline execution, and location-specific budgets
- Establish key metrics and monitor graduate output, placement rates, completion figures, and employer satisfaction
- Connect hub graduates directly to Moniepoint Academy and internal employment pathways
Requirements
- Possess at least ten years of total professional experience
- Accumulate a minimum of five years in leadership roles owning programs, teams, and budgets end-to-end
- Demonstrate zero-to-one capability in designing models, hiring teams, and enforcing standards from scratch
- Show experience managing institutional relationships across universities, industry partners, or government bodies
- Have a history of hiring and supervising technical educators
