The company operates an end-to-end manufacturing platform focused on revitalizing the American industrial base, partnering with innovators across sectors such as aerospace and defense, medical, robotics, electrification, and energy. This role focuses on optimizing commercial operations by merging Lean principles, commercial strategy, and applied artificial intelligence to build sustainable workflows and eliminate waste.

The position suits an experienced process improvement professional who has spent seven to ten or more years deep within go-to-market operations, commercial operations, or process excellence. The ideal candidate actively deploys AI tools like large language models and automation into commercial environments to reduce manual tasks such as CRM hygiene and proposal generation. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, the individual collaborates closely with market leaders, the Vice President of GTM Operations, strategic account managers, and the enterprise lean team to design standard work, manage organizational change, and drive lasting process adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Identify commercial process gaps across sales, business development, and deal execution to design efficient workflows using Lean and RLOS methodologies
  • Build and launch AI-powered workflows including automation, LLMs, and AI-assisted analytics to minimize manual tasks
  • Evaluate and recommend emerging AI tools while serving as the primary commercial team expert on practical AI implementations
  • Manage standard work and standard operating procedures across the commercial organization, handling version control, accessibility, and governance
  • Lead organizational change initiatives through stakeholder alignment, resistance management, and adoption planning
  • Create and deliver modular, role-specific training programs reinforced by ongoing touchpoints to secure lasting adoption
  • Monitor process adherence, investigate process drift, and provide coaching or refresher interventions to close performance gaps
  • Maintain an evolution log and execute a formal continuous improvement cadence consisting of retrospectives, process reviews, and data-driven prioritization reported to leadership

Requirements

  • Demonstrated professional background in commercial operations, GTM operations, process excellence, or a closely related discipline
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI tools such as LLMs, automation platforms, and AI-assisted analytics in commercial or operational settings
  • Working knowledge of Lean methodologies including value stream mapping, standard work, root cause analysis, and PDCA applied outside of manufacturing
  • Experience creating standard operating procedures and standard work documentation on an organizational scale
  • Strong facilitation and training abilities tailored to mixed-experience audiences
  • Analytical capability to diagnose process problems using data and measure improvement outcomes

Qualifications

  • Background in a private equity-backed industrial, multi-site commercial, or manufacturing environment
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or an equivalent continuous improvement credential
  • Experience in revenue operations or commercial operations within an engineering-intensive B2B company
  • Familiarity with contract lifecycle management systems, go-to-market operations tooling, and CRM platforms
  • Experience developing AI-enabled knowledge management systems or training programs
  • Exposure to life sciences, robotics, aerospace and defense, electrification, or energy and environmental solutions markets
