Angkas is hiring a Head of Data Analytics and Insights on a full-time, on-site basis in the Philippines. The head owns the data function, leads the team, and works with leadership on priorities including driver incentives, supply and demand, pricing, retention and unit economics. The role mixes executive presentations with hands-on query and analysis work, and covers data governance, documentation and data lineage.
Responsibilities
- Own the analytics roadmap and set priorities around the metrics that matter most.
- Build the team's capabilities and set up processes for a lean group that works closely with people at every level.
- Present to executives and align with product, operations and finance on decisions.
- Own data governance with engineering, covering pipeline reliability, documentation and data lineage.
Requirements
- 10 or more years in analytics or data science, with at least 5 years leading a team.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Solid statistics background, including experimentation, causal inference and hypothesis testing.
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Superset or Tableau, and clear presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in a data-related field.
- Experience in ride-hailing, logistics or two-sided marketplaces.
- Track record rolling out org-wide AI tools.
- Background in data lineage or metadata management.
