Backed by prominent investors such as Y Combinator and Intel Capital, the company is looking for a hands-on strategic leader to manage the financial operations supporting its transition from a marketing-led to a sales-led go-to-market motion.
This role suits an execution-focused operator who enjoys building lean systems, turning ambiguity into structure, and partnering directly with the CEO and executive team. The position oversees the complete financial function, including accounting, monthly closes, financial modeling, budgeting, and commercial economics. The individual will work remotely in a fast-moving environment while gaining visibility with the board and investors.

Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly close, income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow to produce accurate and timely financial reports
- Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness concerning revenue recognition, tax, treasury, and accounting
- Supervise internal finance personnel and external accounting partners to maintain a lean department
- Design and implement the financial operating model, processes, systems, and budgeting frameworks across departments
- Lead annual planning, rolling forecasts, and scenario modeling to maintain disciplined cash flow and runway management
- Partner with go-to-market leadership regarding compensation plans, capacity planning, pricing limits, and unit economics
- Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team by delivering decision-ready SaaS metrics and financial insights
Requirements
- Have at least 8 years of progressive finance experience with leadership roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies or scale-ups
- Demonstrate hands-on accounting background running monthly closes and owning balance sheets and income statements
- Possess experience guiding a company through an audit
- Show a strong command of subscription economics, SaaS metrics, financial modeling, and forecasting
- Bring previous experience partnering with executive leadership and commercial teams on pricing and compensation
- Demonstrate the ability to simplify complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders
Qualifications
- Hold a CPA certification
- Have experience with investor updates, board reporting, or assisting with fundraising and M&A activities
- Bring background supporting a transition from a product- or marketing-led motion to a sales-led or enterprise go-to-market model
- Possess prior experience in healthcare, health tech, or another regulated industry SaaS sector
- Demonstrate hands-on experience setting up finance tools including ERP or general ledger systems, billing platforms, spend management, or FP&A software
