Responsibilities
- Manage and guide a remote, globally dispersed group of approximately fourteen lawyers and paralegals
- Implement structured personnel practices such as routine individual meetings, feedback sessions, and career growth alignment
- Redesign non-disclosure agreement workflows by integrating artificial intelligence to increase speed and shift focus to higher-value tasks
- Develop, scope, and introduce new profitable contract review and drafting services to broaden the department capabilities
- Take full accountability for turnaround speeds, quality benchmarks, and client deliverables
- Collaborate directly with the Managing Partner, Head of Firm Management, and revenue-generating partners
Requirements
- At least ten years of background in legal practice, legal operations, or corporate and commercial legal services
- Substantive expertise in contract work, with a strong preference for United States commercial contracts and non-disclosure agreements within private equity or financial services
- Availability to work during US Eastern Standard Time hours
- Proven track record of transitioning a function from manual processes into a structured, metrics-focused operation
- Demonstrated ability to independently design and deploy AI-enabled workflows
- Experience managing distributed teams with a commitment to professional development
