The Health and Safety Coordinator at SGS in Cape Town supports and maintains health and safety systems at the site. The role coordinates safety meetings, records incidents, near misses and hazards, and runs OI initiatives and training. It also carries out inspections, facilitates risk assessments, handles internal audit findings and nonconformities, and ensures compliance with OIMS and local regulations. Responsibilities
- Maintain health and safety systems, policies and procedures
- Coordinate safety meetings and record minutes
- Report incidents, near misses, hazards and site KPIs

- Working knowledge of the OHS Act
- Ability to facilitate and conduct training
