Reporting directly to the CTO, this executive role involves protecting corporate infrastructure, products, technology, and sensitive data while enabling rapid business growth. The successful candidate will navigate a broad security footprint encompassing cloud infrastructure, SaaS, endpoints, identity, and complex regulatory environments.
This position suits an experienced security leader who can balance technical depth with strategic business risk management. The CISO will establish key metrics, foster a strong security culture across engineering and business teams, and collaborate closely with legal, privacy, and engineering departments. Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve the global information security strategy and roadmap aligned with business risk and priorities.
- Translate technical security risks into clear business risks for the executive team and CTO.
- Manage product and engineering security lifecycles including threat modeling, architecture reviews, and vulnerability management.
- Drive corporate technology security such as IAM, privileged access, endpoint protection, and Zero Trust adoption.
- Build and improve security operations, threat intelligence, detection engineering, and incident response.
- Maintain compliance programs including ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II, and GDPR while managing third-party vendor risks.
- Establish technical security frameworks for AI applications and internal tools alongside privacy and legal teams.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in information security within global software technology product companies.
- At least 5 years in significant security leadership roles across technology, SaaS, marketplace, fintech, HR-tech, or data-intensive environments.
- Minimum of 2 years serving as a CISO, VP Security, or equivalent senior security leader in a global SaaS or software company.
- Proven background managing security across both product technology and corporate IT environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Product and Application Security, cloud security, and modern security architecture.
- Experience operating mature Security Operations and Incident Response capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of modern identity architecture, IAM, SSO, device trust, and Zero Trust frameworks.
