Globalization Partners Ltd. is seeking an HR Specialist to join its remote team on a one-year fixed-term contract. This position acts as a key business partner to clients in the Employer of Record industry, providing advisory support for workforce management and global expansion across Southern Europe.
The person in this role will guide clients through complex human resources matters, oversee the complete employee lifecycle, and serve as an in-country subject matter expert. Responsibilities span handling sensitive employee relations, managing partner relationships, navigating regional labor laws, and driving digital transformation and compliance governance projects.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced human resources professional with deep familiarity with employment regulations in Southern Europe, particularly France, who thrives in a remote, globally collaborative setting.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complete employee journey from onboarding to lifecycle events and terminations.
- Handle sensitive employee relations cases, participate in meetings, and prepare legal documentation.
- Collaborate with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and legal advisors.
- Advise clients on international human resources matters, compliance, benefits, and workforce planning.
- Review employment contracts and assist with risk mitigation.
- Support performance improvement plans and coordinate salary adjustments.
- Coordinate immigration and mobility needs alongside the Global Mobility team.
- Drive automation, digital transformation, and process optimization.
- Lead compliance governance initiatives across Southern European markets.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Extensive expertise in labor laws and employment regulations across Southern Europe with a focus on France, including portage salarial.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations.
- Proficiency with human resources information systems, Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Slack, and Zoom.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Employer of Record industry.
- Experience working across additional Southern European countries.
