Cashea is seeking an IAM Engineer to join its remote team on a full-time basis. Established in 2022, Cashea operates a buy now, pay later business model aimed at expanding financial inclusion in Venezuela, serving over nine million active consumer and merchant users. In this position, you will oversee the creation, execution, and upkeep of identity and access management operations across the company.
This role centers on ensuring appropriate permissions are granted to every user at the correct time. Your daily work will involve automating user onboarding, offboarding, and role adjustments while upholding strict audit and security regulations. Ideal candidates will enjoy collaborating across departments to streamline operational workflows and support compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities
- Connect internal systems to automate the granting and removal of user privileges
- Set up automated provisioning procedures for new hires, departures, and role modifications
- Build and run user governance controls, such as automatic deactivations and regular access reviews
- Partner with IT and security groups to establish roles, groups, and permissions following the principle of least privilege
- Build and support automation workflows or scripts to boost operational productivity
- Create documentation for identity lifecycle policies, processes, and procedures
- Support internal and external audits by supplying compliance reports and evidence related to identity and access management
Requirements
- Familiarity with identity and access management platforms such as Okta, Active Directory, or JumpCloud
- Understanding of LDAP, single sign-on, SCIM, REST APIs, and automation using languages like Python or PowerShell
- Background working in cloud environments including Google Workspace, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform
- Comprehension of compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and IT general controls
