Job Description
Cision is looking for an IAM Security Engineer to join its growing InfoSec team on a remote basis. As a global leader in media intelligence and communications solutions, Cision provides consumer and media intelligence, engagement, and communication products such as CisionOne, Brandwatch, and PR Newswire to over 75,000 organizations. In this full-time role, the professional will focus on building and maintaining a scalable identity and access management ecosystem, utilizing Okta as the primary platform to support global infrastructure security.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Okta, encompassing single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, and lifecycle management
- Oversee identity lifecycle processes for joiners, movers, and leavers across enterprise systems
- Connect Okta with cloud platforms including Azure AD and AWS IAM, directory services like Active Directory, and third-party software
- Assist with security assessments, audits, and compliance frameworks such as SOC2 and ISO27001
- Handle and address IAM-related security incidents and vulnerabilities
- Establish and enforce role-based access controls and access policies within Okta while overseeing existing identity provider instances
- Help formulate IAM strategic initiatives and roadmaps
Requirements
- Possess three to five years of professional experience in IAM engineering or related security disciplines
- Demonstrate strong background experience working with SAML and OIDC federation protocols alongside various federated identity providers like Okta
- Show familiarity with API integrations, Okta Workflows, and SCIM provisioning
- Bring experience in automation and scripting using tools such as Python and PowerShell
- Understand regulatory frameworks including GDPR, SOC2, and ISO27001
Qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field
- Earn relevant professional credentials such as the CISSP, Okta Certified Professional, or Azure Security Engineer
