Job Description
This full-time role in Kigali, Rwanda, or a flexible location subject to work authorization, supports the Chief Impact Officer at One Acre Fund. The chief of staff improves coordination across the Impact Division's workstreams, helps set and track goals and OKRs, and leads strategic work spanning research, communications or operations.
The position also represents the division externally and may take on management duties. It suits a strategic, organised communicator with an agriculture-related degree, strong analytical skills and experience leading teams.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate impact workstreams and support technical and operational teams
- Lead annual OKR planning and track progress against the impact strategy
- Run prioritisation reviews and move complex projects forward for division leadership
- Lead priority projects in research, operations or communications that matter strategically
Requirements
- A university qualification in farming, ecology, environmental science or agricultural economics
- Demonstrated leadership experience, at work or elsewhere
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly check quantitative analysis
Qualifications
- Fluent English; Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Kirundi or French is a plus
- Clear communication with audiences from non-technical colleagues to external experts
