Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end administration for monthly and quarterly variable pay, delivering accurate calculations, payroll submissions, plan paperwork, and reconciliation controls.
- Collaborate on designing and rolling out updated or new incentive plans by testing scenarios, formulating business rules, and ensuring prompt launches.
- Develop and sustain scalable reports that provide leadership and participants clear visibility into payout amounts, goal attainment, plan efficacy, and compensation expenses.
- Act as the primary contact for inquiries and disputes, researching variances, uncovering root causes, and sharing resolutions with staff and management.
- Improve the compensation operating model by finding ways to boost automation, data integrity, scalability, and system controls.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional background in incentive compensation, Finance, Revenue Operations, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of direct, hands-on practice administering variable compensation structures.
- Demonstrated history of managing end-to-end recurring compensation workflows, from commission computations to participant support and auditing.
- Prior involvement in supporting the design, modeling, rollout, and management of incentive plans.
- Familiarity with incentive compensation management tools, with CaptivateIQ strongly preferred, alongside CRM platforms like Salesforce.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, covering complex formulas, large data management, financial analysis, and scenario forecasting.
- Strong command of compensation controls and analytical methods to evaluate financial, behavioral, and operational impacts of plan adjustments.
- Proven capacity to lead cross-functional projects, influence stakeholders without direct authority, and explain complex concepts clearly.
