Polypackaging Pvt Ltd is currently searching for a mature and self-motivated Industrial Electrician with a specialization in industrial electronics to work on-site in Harare. This full-time position requires a professional who can quickly address machinery failures, conduct preventative maintenance, and support factory efficiency. The ideal candidate pays close attention to detail and acts proactively to spot potential equipment failures before they cause major disruptions.
This role is well-suited for an experienced practitioner with a strong technical background in manufacturing environments. The chosen professional will handle electrical and electronic systems, maintain comprehensive maintenance logs, and ensure that all operations strictly adhere to safety protocols. Polypackaging Pvt Ltd expects the selected individual to assume the position immediately.
Responsibilities
- Fix electrical and electronic problems impacting production machinery quickly
- Find, diagnose, and resolve equipment faults to reduce downtime
- Service and mend industrial electrical and electronic control systems
- Perform preventive and corrective upkeep on production gear
- Troubleshoot control panels, sensors, relays, contactors, motors, and electronics
- Read electrical schematics, wiring schematics, and technical guides
- Spot potential machinery failures and suggest corrective actions
- Log breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance work accurately
- Follow all electrical safety rules and company policies
Requirements
- Proven background in industrial electrical maintenance
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production setting
- Practical expertise in industrial electronics, control circuits, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with maintaining and repairing production machinery and electronic control systems
- Capability to interpret technical manuals and circuit diagrams
Qualifications
- Recognized credential in Industrial Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Electronics, or a related field
- Familiarity with PLCs, variable frequency drives, and industrial automation
