Job Description
Telix Pharmaceuticals is a radiopharmaceutical developer working on radiation-based medicines aimed at cancer and rare conditions. Its headquarters is in Australia, with other offices in Belgium, Japan, Switzerland, and the US. This Inventory Associate post centres on receiving, checking, storing, and tracking goods that support manufacturing and testing.
Day-to-day work starts with receiving deliveries under standard operating procedures. The associate checks each delivery against the purchase order, flags any mismatch, and records the receipt so accounts payable can process it. Stakeholders are kept informed about current stock, especially items that must be inspected or are linked to Good Manufacturing Practice audits and testing.
Other duties include handling radioactive materials and customer samples once the required training is complete, entering stock into the inventory control system, and preparing materials for upcoming production runs based on each product's bill of materials. Stock is organised by expiry date, vendor and ordering details are kept current, and minimum quantities are maintained. Storage covers ambient, refrigerated, and frozen finished or interim products, as well as items waiting for stability testing.
The role suits a detail-oriented person who is organised, calm under pressure, and disciplined about laboratory safety when working around radioactive isotopes. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook, is expected, along with strong interpersonal skills. Occasional tasks may include helping introduce inventory control software, supporting supplier audit paperwork, and retrieving samples.
