This role suits a technical professional who can independently handle end-user technology and core IT infrastructure support across various business locations, including offices, retail stores, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and active construction sites.
The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain server environments and networking equipment, manage incident tickets through Freshservice, and assist with infrastructure upgrades or site launches. Responsibilities also involve participating in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotations, as well as providing guidance to associate team members.
Applicants must meet specific physical demands such as lifting up to fifty pounds, working in diverse environmental conditions like heat or dust, and fulfilling state cannabis licensing and federal background check mandates.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, configure, repair, and maintain PCs, laptops, retail Point of Sale systems, registers, printers, iPads, VoIP phones, and related end-user devices
- Support and maintain Dell and Nutanix server environments, Windows Server systems, and network gear from Meraki and Fortinet
- Resolve incidents and service requests using the Freshservice platform and respond to alerts from SolarWinds
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, site openings, remodels, equipment refreshes, and technology deployments
- Create and maintain technical documentation, installation records, support procedures, and knowledge base articles
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call support rotations
Requirements
- Three or more years of progressively responsible experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, field services, or systems administration
- Ability to travel up to forty percent of the time, including occasional last-minute trips
- Flexibility to participate in on-call support rotations covering weekends, holidays, and after-hours
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass federal background checks and state cannabis licensing requirements
- Physical ability to lift and carry up to fifty pounds and perform tasks on active construction sites or operational facilities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred
