Job Description
Alliance Animal Health operates as a business partner and majority owner for hundreds of veterinary facilities throughout the United States, providing centralized administrative solutions encompassing finance, marketing, human resources, and talent acquisition. To sustain this nationwide network, the organization is hiring an IT Service Director to join its lean technology division. Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, this fully remote professional oversees daily technology operations, service delivery, vendor management, performance reporting, and administration of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. This hands-on position requires direct participation in troubleshooting, technical escalation handling, and infrastructure support rather than purely administrative management.
The person in this role acts as a primary coordinator between internal corporate groups, hospital locations, and the managed service provider to maintain consistent technical support quality. Key duties involve tracking ticket volumes, monitoring satisfaction metrics, establishing service level standards, and managing user provisioning. Qualified applicants must possess a relevant bachelor degree alongside extensive technical administration expertise and multi-site support experience. While the position operates remotely, some travel is necessary for stakeholder meetings, site visits, and strategic projects.

- Coordinate closely with the primary managed service provider to track performance and handle onboarding

Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in help desk, technical operations, systems administration, or IT support
- Advanced experience in administering Microsoft 365 environments
- Demonstrated knowledge of endpoint management, identity access management, and multi-site support
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup with periodic travel requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in IT management, team leadership, or service delivery management
- Background working in a co-managed IT or managed service provider environment
- Previous experience in healthcare, veterinary, dental, retail, hospitality, or distributed multi-site industries
