Deloitte in Accra is hiring an IT Specialist for Infrastructure Security Management. The role runs data centre environments, deploys and maintains servers, networks and security devices, and oversees physical security and access control for the office and data centre. It also covers security controls such as antimalware, patching and incident response, and staff security awareness. It is a full-time position for an engineering or computing graduate with at least five years of related post-NSP experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor data centre environmental conditions, infrastructure integrity and security
- Deploy, support and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, security devices and communication systems
- Implement security controls, including antimalware, vulnerability patching and incident response
- Monitor infrastructure availability and performance, and support security awareness training
Requirements
- Degree from a recognized university in Ghana or overseas with at least second class lower in electrical or electronic engineering, computer engineering or a related discipline
- At least five years of directly related post-NSP work experience in a similar function
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications
- Sound problem-solving, judgment and decision-making, and the ability to work under pressure with little supervision
Qualifications
- CCNA, CISA or MS Azure certification
- Superior customer service and support skills
