Productive Playhouse is currently building a talent pool for an upcoming initiative focused on testing and evaluating leading AI chatbots and language models. Operating as a global data and language services firm, the organization specializes in transcription, translation, localization, linguistic analysis, and AI assessment to preserve languages and cultures. For this 100% remote independent contractor engagement, selected Japanese speakers will interact directly with various AI models to assess helpfulness, safety, and overall capabilities.
This task-based role offers complete schedule autonomy, allowing contractors to select their preferred assignments, work flexible hours, and maintain other client commitments. Work arrives in iterative batches, meaning task availability may fluctuate. Specific duties and deliverables will be outlined in a Statement of Work prior to the start of each assignment. Responsibilities
- Conduct structured conversations and testing sessions with AI chatbots and language models using assigned prompts and goals
- Engage in voice-based interactions with AI models, which involves recording sessions and sharing audio with clients as part of deliverables
- Submit required deliverables such as ratings, write-ups, screenshots, or recordings according to task specifications
Requirements
- Native or expert-level fluency in Japanese as spoken in Japan
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Possess hands-on experience using large language models or AI tools
- Comfortable with both written and voice-based conversations, including asking sharp follow-up questions
- Provide a personal computer, smartphone, and reliable internet connection
- Successfully pass a technical literacy and language proficiency assessment
- Complete identity verification successfully
